The Bridge Church hosts “Wilmington on Fire”, a documentary film screening plus community discussion on May 13, 2017, 7pm at The Bridge Church (2101 Market St, Wilmington, NC 28403).

“Wilmington on Fire” is a full-length documentary film about the 1898 massacre in Wilmington, NC that unseated a multi-racial elected government which led to Jim Crow Segregation throughout the state of North Carolina.

After the screening, the director and several cast members from the documentary will share their experiences on making the film and discuss their perspective on the 1898 massacre and its impact on Wilmington, North Carolina today.
